These are high quality bone china mugs featuring your artwork for inexpensive retail sales, the very best business promotion, excellent promotional gifts, and all other promotional needs. We decorate every one to the highest (genuine) pottery decoration standards. This decoration is invariably applied via ceramic transfers or decals, enabling us to make fullest use of the available decorating area, and so that we can print the decals with any number of colours via our own precision silk-screen technique which we have developed continuously over more than 35 years. Where necessary we also have available digital printing of the decals. All our decoration firing is at over 800°Centigrade. All our product is dishwasher-safe, and unless gold or platinum metals form part of the decoration, they are perfectly microwave-safe too.

PLEASE NOTE: This extremely competitively-priced range - we do not believe any other UK manufacturer or re-seller is able to offer lower prices, and most certainly not at our high quality level which we will not compromise - is restricted to your provision of the full artwork in camera-ready form. We are, however, prepared to re-insert your required text to ensure its maximum crispness and clarity.
Photographs showing a typical range of bone china mugs with bespoke designs that we have specially produced during the last year or two for Customers - to give you some ideas on the scope of possibilities and what you can ask us to do for you - for your fund-raising, for your promotion, for your restaurant, for your shop sales - whatever it is that you are seeking to do. All of these mugs have been decorated via the manual application of ceramic decals (waterslide transfers), followed by firing at above 800°C for everlasting permanence and outstanding dish-washer resistance.
To qualify for the above prices, your artwork must be in 'camera-ready' form. Designs, complete with colour separations as applicable, are best supplied as your original Adobe (preferred) or Corel files, either by email or on CD. On receipt we prepare it for printing, and after receiving your approval that all is as you would wish we use one of three processes to print and apply your design to your chosen mugs
- direct silk screen - where the colour is printed through the screen directly on to the mug. We use this process only for one-colour designs as, with the best will in the world, registration of further colours leaves much to be desired
- traditonal precision silk screen printing of transfers (decals) - our principal method, capable of producing the maximum possible vibrancy from spot (separate) ceramic colours, and near photographic quality too when we use our own precision process colour (CMYK) printing.
- digital printing - particularly suitable for some high resolution decorations at near photographic quality
With each of these processes, the colour pigments we use at all times are finely powdered coloured glasses, and after application to the mugs, we fire at temperatures above 800°Centigrade. This enables us to supply you with a product that is not only beautiful but has maximum durability under all circumstances. No organic colouring pigments or organic glazing resins are used in any of our processing.
All Chown China's decal printing is carried out day in, day out, with this same high degree of precision and attention to detail, and when combined with our high quality in-house artistry, the resulting product is unmatched for value-for-money.
