Domestic tableware for your own home

We enjoy designing and producing good tableware for our clients - it frequently gives us plenty of scope to introduce something 'new' and 'rather different' even if the design is quite basic and simple. The essence of such designs is that they must be totally durable in use as well as being really attractive, maximising the enhancement and enjoyment of the meals to be eaten from them.

To order your own bespoke tableware decoration, whether it be just a set of coffee cups and saucers or a complete tableware suite, please tell us of your requirement, whether it is to be strictly functional or whether the decoration is to complement furnishings or architectural features, etc., and provide us with whatever photographs, sketches, etc. that you can and we will take it from there, submitting our artwork back to you for your full approval before we commence printing and production. You are most welcome to submit your own camera-ready artwork in total or in part - whatever is most convenient to you.

Please note: We follow the normal practice of our Industry, where 'Domestic tableware' is defined as ware that is decorated with colours and/or precious metals that are fired on to the underlying clear glaze at temperatures of approximately 800°-850°Centigrade. Only ceramic colours of the highest standards are utilised, such that our product is suitable for washing in domestic dishwashers.

We also manufacture 'Catering tableware' which may be found on other pages. In the case of our business, the only essential difference between Domestic and Catering styles is that our Catering tableware is decorated exclusively with 'in-glaze' ceramic colours. Some alternative shapes of plates, cups, etc. are available to caterers too. These decorations require firing at temperatures above 1000°C such that they are virtually indestructable and the ware is suitable for washing in short time-cycle high-temperature commercial dishwashers.
