Bespoke Bone China Plates
A beautiful plate can make a wonderful gift, and every opportunity should be taken to make full use of the vibrancy of colours that bone china affords - and its everlasting permanence too. Apart from their use as decorative features on the wall in the home or office, they are particularly suited to awards, presentations and trophies. With our many years of continuous development of our own in-house decoration techniques, we believe we offer our Customers the most complete and the most advanced Bespoke bone china design service in our Industry. In this section of our Showroom website, we detail numerous examples of our bespoke product, not merely to whet your appetite for such product for yourselves, but to hopefully sow seeds in your mind as to what you can ask us to do exclusively for you, and how to go about it.
Our minimum order quantity is ONE - as with all our product. The design and production of one-off Trophies and Presentation Plates is one of our particular specialities. All items can be individually personalised as you require - and do make use of the Backstamp area (on the back of the plate) to augment the design on the Face of your Plate.
If you are fund-raising, promoting your business, celebrating a special event or Anniversary, or perhaps a tourist gift for your very own exclusive shop sales - whatever it is that you are seeking to do - send us your artwork or its components and let us help.
This large 31.5cm diameter plate is a reproduction of similar plates individually hand-painted in ceramic colours by this Artist. She came to us with her set of such plates but also a portfolio of her artworks painted in acrylics on paper. We were so impressed that we invited her to let us feature her work as a full tableware range, and having agreed the arrangements you will find this fully featured on our Factory Shop website.
Bone china is unique in commercial pottery production in that, somewhat by fortunate accident of its reactive high temperature chemistry, if fired correctly under extremely tight control such as we apply, it affords the greatest vibrancy of fired colour to the on-glaze decoration. This is apparent on mugs, but is most obvious on plates and other large items.View items...
This is just one of a large series of 27cm diameter rimmed plates (dinner plates) commissioned from us by an American retailer. The full design of each plate was drawn by hand by John and Stewart Chown working from photographs and photocopies supplied by Customer, assembled, and printed in true in-glaze cobalt blue, and fired at a temperature in excess of 1000°Centigrade.
This item is a small 10cm diameter shallow bone china dish or coaster. Here, Customer supplied the central image as a graphics file, and the required text, by email. From this we produced a visual which we submitted for approval, and as this was a large order, we subsequently also supplied a fully fired item for final approval too.View items...
